
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Ann (David) Brown, Harry James Gill, Thomas (Carolynn) Gill, Richard Gill; sisters Ruth Graves, Marion Laninga; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Harry loved the Lord, his family, his church and his country. He proudly served in the Navy during WWII as an aviation machinist mate aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Bunker Hill. He retired from American Seating and will be remembered for his life time employment there.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Georgetown Bible Church located at 4114 Baldwin Street, Hudsonville, MI 49426. Rev. Garry Koon will be officiating. Kent County Honor Guard will be honoring Harry's military service with a special ceremony. In honor of Harry, contributions may be made to Georgetown Bible Church.
