
He was born December 16, 1914 on the Wycoff “home place” in Burnips, MI.
He was preceded in death by his eldest son Larry, and recently by his sister Lura Schaendorf.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 63 years Betty; his children, Dennis Wycoff of Byron Center, Sandy Blomeling of Grand Rapids, Don Lorraine Wycoff of Burnips, Debbie Bruce Dennett of Byron Center; his 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his brother Lilton Ethel Wycoff of Dorr, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
He loved gardening and working outside and was an excellent farmer for 50 years in Byron Center.
He enjoyed talking about the family history and was very witty at telling jokes.
He lived his life by the “Golden Rule”.
His happiest times were those spent with family and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Henry’s life will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center Chapel 2067 84th St. SW with Pastor Kevin Harney of Corinth Reformed Church officiating.
Interment will be at the Winchester Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
