Dear Family, Jim is remembered by me as a kind and funny classmate during our formative years at Blessed Sacrament. As our families lives have intersected in a myriad of ways, please know that how much you all have been held in heart and thought. My deepest sympathy for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I worked with Jim and Jane many years ago at Prince/Southview. I also worked with Greg up until his retirement. My heart goes out to Jane and the rest of the family, it's such a sad loss. Prayers for all of you!

JMJI was a classmate of 4 years with Jim at the former St. Joseph Seminary in GrandRapids, and am humbled to be the one priest from our graduating class. Jim always treated me with respect. If I remember correctly, when St. Joe's defeated Covenant Christian High School (the previous year's state Class D champion) in our Senior Year I remember getting a "backdoor basket" on a great pass from Jim. Jim's picture was in the Grand Rapids Press Sports' section the next day, and it was quite a surprise victory. I extend my sincerest condolences to his wife Jane, his children, his grandchildren, his siblings, and all his relatives. "Eternal rest grant unto Him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Jimmy was a cool dude very fun personality enjoyed golfing and NCAA tourneys many years . Just a simple funloving dude. Myself and James actually beat jim and Mike golfing once that was a big upset . Good job jimmy you've been a great friend . if I struggle with my golf game will devote patience in memory of you no more tossing golf clubs up in trees never to come down

I worked with Jim for many many years,and liked just chatting with him about random stuff.He was funny,and I liked hearing his laugh and he always did something with his mustache when talking with him,just things you remember about someone working with them for many years.Im very sorry about your loss and my prayers to the family he will be missed,I've missed him not being at work.
