Words can not express how much Aunt Jeanie meant to me. She was with me when Mom died, I don't know how I would have gotten through those days without her. Always smiling, making others feel good, when needed she was there. There was no other heart as big as Aunt Jeanie's, anyone that knew her can attest to that. Grandma, My heart is filled with memories of you that I will Cherish and hold close to my heart forever! You are the reason that our family is so close. Growing up you always had all us grandkids over night for Slumber Parties. That tradition continued up until a few years ago, when us girls had one last slumber party for your Birthday. I will never forget that night, we danced and watched movies. Some of us even pulled the famous "BLY" all nighter that many of us have come to know quite well. I would have never learned to do the Twist if it wasn't for you teaching us kids that when we were little. I could go on forever about all the fun things you taught us growing up, and all the great times we had with you, but the one thing that really stands out in my mind is how you taught me the words to the prayer " Now I lay me down to sleep." Every time I would sleep over you would say that with Me. I am eternally greatful for having you in my life. I love you so much!! Rest in peace grandma!!!!!

Grandma,
 I will always remember slumber parties, Golden Girls, Empty Nest, Coke floats, The O.J. Simpson trial, walnuts to crack at Christmas time, miniature Reese's PB cups, the flat tire and speeding ticket on the way to Phoenix, Elvis and YOUR chicken salad just to name a dozen. I have been blessed with so many wonderful memories to cherish and pass on. I canA�A�A�t find the words to say how much I love you or how much you meant to me. Anyone who knew you knew that you were the epitome of strength and courage. Most people would have fallen apart had they suffered as much loss as you, but still you managed to keep it together...to hold us all together and teach us to importance family. Without you I couldnA�A�A�t have made it through these last two years. What a wonderful mother, grandmother, woman you were...so many rolls you played so perfectly. We are all better people for having known you! You will live on in our memories and our hearts FOREVER and EVER! I LOVE YOU and I will MISS YOU TURRIBLY! Walk with JESUS!

I had the pleasure of spending once a week with Jean during the times when she would get her hair styled weekly. She was most definatley one of my favorite clients. We shared so many stories,comforts,and memories together.I will never forget the lady who was always early no matter what the weather was like and she always came in the door with a smile on her face and a happy "HELLO" She shared so much with me that I feel her family is a part of mine. Jim, Deb and Bob, It was such a shock getting that phone call. Our love and deepest sympathy to all. We have been so very close to all the Bly family for over fifty years. We have such great memories. From the "camping out" days, as your Mom called them, at Pine Chapel Village Hampton to the trips to MI. for vacations, weddings, etc.. We never knew when your Mom was going to show up at the door, but we loved having her anytime. We will miss her very, very much. Again, all our love and deepest sympathy to all.

Jim, Deb and Bob, I was so sorry to hear from mom and dad this afternoon of your mom's passing. I have such fond memories of vacations in Michigan with your family, not to mention the times when your mom would show up in Virginia. We never knew when to expect her, but we always enjoyed it! I was fortunate enough to see Jean in March 2007 when she last visited mom and dad. She was a great person who will be missed so much by so many. My deepest sympathy to you and your families.

I will always remember the many visits she made to see Mother in the nursing home and her much needed support for me at Mother's funeral. I will remember going to a chinese restaurant and Jeanie ordering fried oysters. I was fortunate enough to see Jeanie this past spring and I talked to her while she was in the hospital. Jean's Family.. I can't imagine all the pain that you are going through, your family has gone through so much, in so little time. I remember the first time I meet Jean, she made me feel as if we had always known each other...she started telling me stories about her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, it was obvious how much her family meant to her. I'll never forget my loving memories of Aunt Jeanie! She was always a Ray of Sunshine in our lives, no matter how dificult the times. Her love for family and friends was undeniable, she was a true blessing in our lives. Thanks for always being there for all of us. We will miss her dearly.
