DE KRAKER - Jean Marie DeKraker, 1924-2005, entered into the presence of the Lord on this day, July 21, 2005. She has run the race God set before her and finished the course with joy. Joy to her was knowing, in body and soul, both in life and death, she belonged to her faithful Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ satisfied our sins with His precious blood. One of her favorite scriptures was John 11:25, 26. “I am the one who raises the dead and give them life again. Anyone who believes in Me will never die.”
She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew DeKraker and an infant son, Bruce DeKraker.
Those left waiting to join her in Heaven are Bruce A. and Julia DeKraker and family, Scott and Lisa Sowa, Bruce and Brandee DeKraker, and Matt and Sara Orange. Grandchildren include Olivia Sowa, Lucas Sowa, Arie and Anthony DeKraker, Anna, Kallista, and Rachel Orange, Joel and Gayle DeKraker and family, Joel and Sharon DeKraker, Christopher and Kathryn, Robert and Carol DeKraker and family, Elizabeth and Kyle Neher, Benjamin and Theodore, Andrew and Heidi DeKraker and family, Emily, Molly and Andrew.
Also surviving are her sisters, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Maxine and Gerald Terpstra, Christine Pickett, Janeva Shoemaker, Peter DeKraker, Adrianna Schut, Carolyn Westhouse, Joyce and Larry Potgeter. Gladys DeKraker, and Kathleen DeKraker
