Jean Marie Marlowe

MARLOWE Mrs. Jean Marie Marlowe Ph.D., age 76, beloved wife, mother, grandma g'ma passed from her loving family Saturday, November 20, 2010. Dr. Marlowe received her degree from Michigan State University and served public and international schools for thirty years. Her love of her garden was evident in the beauty of her flowers. She will be fondly remembered for her unending generosity to her family. She was born to Fred and Mildred Funk Chapman on November 22, 1933. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Miles Patrick; sisters and twin brother, Lucy Amon, Amye Landers, and John Chapman. She will be lovingly missed by her husband, companion, and best friend of 54 years, Harvey. She will also be deeply missed by her sons, Michael Kim Marlowe, and Patrick Gloria Marlowe; grandchildren, Nichole, Amber, Luke, and Mallory Marlowe; brothers and sisters, Ralph Doris Chapman, Robert Patsy Chapman, and Anna Brown; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; and her constant four paw companion, Sandy.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 AM at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville. Interment will be at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet her family Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the Cook Funeral Home west building.
