I was shocked to hear this when my mom called me last friday to tell me and the tears started falling when i just sat there remembering all the good times with Jeff and Peggy and the entire TILLEY'S SOFTBALL TEAM. Growing up my dad was the coach and i will always remember the good times like softball parties we used to have at Jeff and Peggy's house in Brodhead and all the good times we shared as they were very close friends of my family and it was an honor to not only know Jeff as a great ball player but as a great husband, a great father and a person who i considered a big brother. my thoughts and prayers go out to the entire haberman family from not only me but the entire Henthorn / Vivian / Dahl families and the entire Tilley's ball team who had the honor of not only playing with Jeff but the honor of knowing one of the greatest guys i will have ever met in my lifetime. We will miss you Jeff. we love you.

To the entire Haberman family: I just got the news yesterday of Jeffs passing, so I apoligize on the lateness of this. You have my sincere condolences. Peggy, my heart goes out to you in this time of extreme sadness. The first memory that came to mind, was the class reunion. Family man, to the highest power. So proud of his family, carrying around a family photo in his breast pocket to show everyone he met. Words fail me at this point, but just know that I am thinking about you and your family, and sending lots of positive vibrations right now. I do not see a link to where a contribution can be made to Jocelyns educational fund. Has one been set up at any of the banks in Brodhead??

Dear Peggy and family, Words cannot express how saddened we all were to hear of Jeff's passing. We have so many memories of times together at Prince of Peace in Rockton---working together on starting the youth group for the "younger generation", talking during coffee hour and keeping tabs on each other's kids. Sarah and Carrie were like sisters and it was always good to know what a great guy her "other dad" was! He was such a solid guy that you knew wanted only the best for his kids. He always had a smile and a story to tell you and was the kind of person you knew would do anything for those he cared about. He was so proud of all his kids and we know that his loving attitude will carry on as each of them have their own families.
