Jennie Rutty

RUTTY Nash/Vriezema – Jennie Rutty, age 102, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 16, 2010 at Rose Garden Homes. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Nash and Elwin Rutty; daughters, Cora Black and Henrietta Bruce Williams; son, Burt Nash; step-children, Larry Rutty and Jack Rutty; daughter-in-law, Mary Nash; granddaughter, Jodi Rutty; and her 11 siblings.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Howard Nash, Thurlene Wayne Behrens, Patsy Ron Kooistra, and Carol Bob Johnston; step-children, Carol Rutty, Betty Tom Flowers, and Linda Rutty; 29 grand children and many great and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

We would especially like to thank the Rose Garden Homes staff, and Hospice of Holland Home for their loving care. Also her good friends, Beryl Vander Leest and Tracy Kett's family who never forgot to visit.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville East Building with Pastor Josh Mateer officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville West Building.
