He was preceded in death by his grandson, Timothy Roxbury.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Cecilia; his daughters Lavina James Roxbury, Marilyn Merbs; 5 grandchildren: Pamela Roxbury, Mark Susan Roxbury, Theresa Russ Nelson, Christine Phil Mulder, Sharon Jim Bareman; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great granddaughters; sister-in-law Edna Yogovich.

The funeral Mass will be held 11 am Monday at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Msgr. Gaspar Ancona celebrant, burial will be at St. Sebastian Cemetery.

The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center 2067 84th St, with a Rosary at 4 pm Sunday.
