

Judy Anne Day, age 80 of Hudsonville, MI passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on Thursday, September 11, 2025. She was born January 18, 1945 in Hudson, MI to William and Edna Hartley.
Judy graduated from Hudson High School in 1962. She married Chuck Day on January 11, 1964, beginning a long and wonderful life together that would be full of all the things she loved: gatherings with family and friends, doing crafts, cooking, attending music concerts, plays, and Tiger baseball games, cheering on her grandkids at sporting events and performances, flower gardening, fishing, and traveling. She especially enjoyed beating her grandkids at a competitive game of marbles. Later in life, she enjoyed learning to play the dulcimer, doing activities at Georgetown Senior Center, creating art with the SPARK program at the Muskegon Museum of Art, and the weekly adventures with her daughter.
Judy was an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Adrian, MI and then became a member of Holy Redeemer Church in Jenison, MI after moving to the West Michigan area.
Judy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Chuck; children Chuck (Debbie), Kristin (Tom); grandchildren Trevor (Cortney), Lucas, Molly, Kari, and Ella; brothers John (Cindi), Al, and Tom (Annick). Aunt Judy will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Bill and Charlie; sisters Brenda, Terry, and Barbara.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Holy Redeemer Parish, 2700 Baldwin St., Jenison, MI 49428, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
