 Maryalynn sends her condolances and prayers to Karen's family.
 Even though she had moved to Nashville last summer, Maryalynn was concerned about Karen's health and spoke of her often.

Karen was (is) such an inspiration to all of us here at the condos. She will be sorely missed but know there is another bright star in the heavens now. My prayers are with you and yours.

Aunt Karen will be greatly missed by my family. She had such a presence when she was around and it was a joy and an honor to call her family. While its a sad time for us here, I can't be sad for her because she is in the company of her Lord and Savior. Love and prayers to the Johnson family.

Karen will be greatly missed. Having only known her for a few years and been with her a few times, the memory her infectious smile and gracious spirit still warms our hearts. We are so thankful for her testimony of faith in Christ and legacy that she has left with those who know her. Prayers are with the entire family.

I was in church, the day before I was to leave for Bangladesh, and I was still nervous about getting to the right place at the right time in the airports. Karen had just gotten back from Ecuador. She came up to me and gave me money, "Because the airport food is so expensive." I told her about my traveling concerns and she told me how she did it. In every stop at airports, she wrote down in a notebook, the place and time she had to be next, and how to get there. She checked her information three times. For example, Gate D, 10:30, take the C train from level 1. It worked! God put her in place to meet my needs and she obeyed him, as usual!

 I'm sooo sorry I can't be there for you. I had chemo on Thursday, and it's knocked for for a loop. Ike will come to the funeral, but I'm not strong enough. Know my heart is with you. She was such a beautiful lady.
 Love you sincerely and pray God cradles you in His arms.

It was my privilege to take care of Karen. She was inspirational and so very gracious . A true Christian example. So positive and courageous despite so many setbacks. Fought like a trooper , yet knew when it was enough. A very special lady that I will always remember . She just LOVED her family!

Thinking of Dan & Karen, Mike, Denise & Family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I have fun memories of your mom. I remember going to your house for youth group activities or just to hang out.
