Kathryn M. Dieterle

DIETERLE - Kathryn M. Dieterle, age 71, surrounded by her family, inherited her room in the Lord’s house on Monday, November 13, 2006. She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Wynalda, her brother, Richard Wynalda, and her husband Jack Dieterle.

She is survived by her sons, Paul Theresa, Terry Terry Bsharah, Bruce Kellie Williams and Steve Julie; sisters, Florence Rutledge, Marge Arnold DeHaven; sister-in-law Virginia Richard Wynalda; special friends, Henry Giles and Natalie Luis.

A faithful, loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Kathryn was most proud of and got her greatest joy from being a part of the lives of her grandchildren, Erin, Staci, Jodi and Jayson; Michael, Courtney and Matthew; Erik and Mark; Jackson, Isaac and Benjamin and great grandchildren Makenna and Lindsay; Caden and Logan.

Her love of family will be missed by her nieces and nephews Cindy, Peggy and Larry; Patti and Richard; Todd and Kevin. Her family wants to thank Mom’s many friends at Mary Free Bed Hospital, her work and her friends at MFB were always important to her.

Kathryn lived life after being diagnosed with cancer the way she lived it before getting the news, dependent on God, trusting him first and with a courageous and determined spirit. Her sons would like to especially thank Theresa for her daily loving care and comfort for Mom. A special thanks to Debra Zinger and the people of Hospice for their kind attention to our family.

Relatives and friends are welcome Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building, 4235 Prairie St. Grandville, SW. A service to celebrate Kathryn’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cook Memorial Chapel.
