The special memory that we as Grandparents have is Kenny always had a smile, no matter what . To know he is with our Lord is indeed a peace filled comfort. No more pain. Kenny has a brand new body !

Kenny’s school bus drivers always loved chauffeuring us to Grand Haven Schools! Christmas ride in style!

My first year working in Kenny’s school I had the honor of being able to accompany him for recess. This goofy guy always made me laugh with the faces he made and jokes he shared. He was squinting one recess and I put my sun glasses on him and I got the biggest smile in return. His joy was contagious and he was able to brighten up my day no matter what. He will be very missed but I am rejoicing knowing he is in the arms of Jesus. 

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Kenny.   Although we didn't know him personally,  I do know that that Fox really loved to spend time with him, telling funny jokes and having fun!   He was truly an inspiration to those whose lives he touched in such a special way!  Now we pray that you will all feel God's presence with peace and comfort knowing Kenny is made new and in the loving  arms of Jesus.   

Dear Hook Family-
My deepest condolences to you all as you grieve the loss of Kenny.  I’m so thankful for the time that I got to know him and share in his bright, funny personality. He had a competitive spirit and would never let me win a game of tic-tac-toe or any PT challenges that I would give to him.  He had the BEST smile and never let a good joke go over his head. What a beautiful soul. 💚

Kenny oh Kenny the world has lost a true character that loved and cared no matter the issues that arose.  No health issues would ever keep you down that smile would shine through space and beyond.  We all know your favorite drink and number  so cheers to coke cola and the number  8. My bro you may gone in physical form but  never in spirit form. Next time i see you im coming with a case of coke cola and deck of cards so we play crazy 8's.  We love you bro .

I had just completed my training to work with Kenny as one of his school nurses just before he was off of school for a planned medical procedure. In true Kenny fashion, his recovery took weeks longer than expected. I happened to be scheduled to be with him on his 1st day back to school! While I was confident in my training, I hadn’t worked on my own with him yet, and it had been quite some time since my training. He was stable and ready but still fragile. I had convinced myself I was ready. Our 1st class that day was art. We were to mold mini worlds out of blue and green clay. I grabbed Kenny’s hands and we started to roll the clay. He was not interacting or helping much. His eyes were shut, he was asleep. Thinking he was still fatigued from recovering I said… ‘Kenny wake
up we are having fun in art class….’ His eyes remained shut. Being new to Kenny I wasn’t sure how much to push him or if this was his norm. I continued…’unless you just hate art and are fake sleeping to get out of it…’ next came the biggest mischievous smile and a quick side eye from Kenny. It was THAT moment I knew not only how much he (we both) disliked art, but how much I was going to be able to learn from his beautiful magnetic personality and sense of humor. And I did just that. He was always present. He used his manners. He was smart, SO smart. He was kind. He was strong, and SO brave. He often shouted answers to his classmates :). He worked hard. He had the worlds best sense of humor! To know him was to love him. I have yet to master the list he conquered in his 19 years! But I will never give up striving, just like Kenny never did. 💚

Your family is the greatest example of love and unity as you loved on Kenny beautifully through his life.  And Kenny provided your family with the joy and love only he could give you.  I pray that God comforts you hearts and reminds you that you will see Kenny again.   We love you guys. 

So sorry to hear of Kenny’s passing. He touched so many lives…especially when sharing his great smile. One of my favorite memories is the first time meeting Kenny’s brother and sisters. The whole family came for Kenny’s conference and the three siblings spent the whole time entertaining him, making him laugh, caring for him. Kenny was very young and they already knew just how to help him live life to the fullest. 💕 Praying for you all.
 

It was so obvious how much Kenny was loved; not only by his parents; but by his brother and sisters. Whatever needed to be done, they just jumped right in.  You are some special kids! God bless you whole family!

Kenny-have great memories of our times together pushing you around in the wheelchair in church, doing wheelies and you would laugh so hard! See you in heaven my friend! ❤️❤️
