Lawrence S. Nowakowski

NOWAKOWSKI - Lawrence Sylvester Nowakowski, age 84, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Casmer and MaryAnn Nowakowski; brother, Hubert John Nowakowski; sister, Mary Margaret Perrin; grand-daughter Cristine Evans; and son-in-law, Karl W. Mueller.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Betty (Bratfish) Nowakowski; children, Carolyn Mueller, John (Gloria) Nowakowski, Barbara (Michael) Dockery, and Darla (Jeff) Evans; grandchildren, Kevin, Christopher, James, Julie, Jennifer, Jessica, Katrina, and Kale; sisters, Sister Maristella and Bridget Englehardt; in-laws, Bernice (Robert) Southworth, Herman (Inabeth) Bratfish.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm Tuesday, July 15, at the Bread of Life Lutheran Church, 3570 Baldwin Dr. Hudsonville, MI with Pastor Paul Krupinski officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
