Leonard attended South Christian High School, graduating in 1962. He was in the US Navy for two years. He then worked as a medical supply salesman.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Sadie Jonker, sister, Joy Grzeszak; brother, John Jonker Jr.; and sister-in-law, Gloria Jonker.
He is survived by his brothers Robert (Sharon) Jonker, David (Judy) Jonker; sister, Mary (Russ) Bolitho; sister-in-law, Barb Jonker; and brother-in-law, Jim Grzeszak; many nieces and nephews; his former wife, Joy E. Jonker; and her grandchildren Ryan and Katie.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial will take place at a later date in the spring.
