Lorraine R. Johnson

JOHNSON- Lorraine R. Johnson age 92 of Grandville, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Gertrude Brouwer and brother Lyle Brouwer, and her husband Henry "Hank" Johnson and daughter Jill Moore.

She is survived by her children, Sally Thomas, Randy (Lin) Johnson; son-in-law James Moore; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, extended family and special friend Eleanor Steen. Lorraine was a RN, graduating from Butterworth School of Nursing and was a WWII Army Air Force Nurse Veteran.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Monday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW (east building). The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday 3 to 6 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville (west building). Memorial contributions may be made to Women's Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery, care of www.womensmemorial.org.
