Lorraine E. Scott was born in Detroit, Michigan, to John and Dorothy Metz on January 28, 1937. She died March 18, 2026, at age 89. She was the dear mother of David (Helen) Scott, Lynne (Paul) Gursky, Paul Scott, and Michael (Kathy) Scott; grandmother of nine grandchildren; and great-grandmother to 13. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Doug; parents; and siblings.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. April 18, 2026, at the Kirk of Our Savior Presbyterian Church, 36660 Cherry Hill Rd., Westland, MI 48185. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angela Hospice, Kirk of Our Savior, or the charity of your choice.
