She was born in Sylvania, Ohio on November 12, 1923, to George Leo and Clara Viola (Keezer) DeChant. She married Robert D. King in 1948 who passed away in 1982.
Luci is survived by five children: James (Kathy) King of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jan (Stan) Powers of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, Doug (Cindy) King of Dallas, Texas, Russ King of Newaygo, Michigan, and Steve (Jane) King, of Holland, Michigan; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Stallter, of Menominee Falls, Wisconsin; and one brother-in-law, Chet King of Toledo, Ohio.
A time of remembrance will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St., SW, Grandville, Michigan, with a sharing time beginning at 11 a.m.
