Margaret Ann Baumgartner

She was born June 8, 1912, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Thomas and Sophie Fox. She was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. She spent much of her life in Detroit, Berkley, and Birmingham, Michigan where she raised three children and taught home economics. She was a member of Central Methodist Church of Detroit and later Kirk in the Hillls Presbyterian Church of Boomfield Hills.

Margaret Ann was a life member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, a board member of the Women's City Club of Grand Rapids, and a volunteer for the Florence Hills Waters Guild of Blodgett Hospital. She became an accomplished stitcher, which gave her great joy. She was a member of the Embroiders Guild of Grand Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her sister Ruth Christy and brother Richard Fox. Surviving are her children, Ann James Corwin of Southport, NC, Richard Kathleen of Clarkston, MI, and George Deborah of Jenison, MI, as well as six grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial service will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
