She was preceded in death by her husband John Bouwkamp; parents Henry and Dena Vollink; and five siblings.
She will be lovingly missed by her children Thomas (Barbara) Bouwkamp, Nancy (Terry) Popma and David (Mary) Bouwkamp; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Peg finally hitched-hiked her way to Heaven.
Visitation with the family will be held 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie Street, S.W., Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017, with visitation one hour prior, at Fair Haven Ministries (enter door "L"), 2900 Baldwin, Hudsonville, MI 49426. Pastor Harvey Heneveld will be officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery.
