Marie Elve

ELVE, Marie Flik born December 21, 1918 is in the "glory land" now. On April 21, 2010, Marie left this earth to join her loved ones who went on before, her husband Kenneth in 2007, brother and sister-in-law Harold and Anne Flik, sisters and brother-in-laws Gertrude and Harry Koetsier, Lois and Philip Elve, brother Henry, sister-in-law Lucille Flik, brothers-in-law David Elve and sister-in-law Beth Lindhout. Marie is survived by her 3 sons and their wives Steve and Carol Elve, Tom and Karen Elve, Randy and Diane Elve; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law George and Lois Flik, brother-in-law Daniel Elve, sister-in-law Kim Elve and several nieces and nephews.

Marie now knows firsthand "What a day that will be when my Jesus I will see, when I look upon His Face, the one who saved me by His Grace, when He takes me by the hand and leads me to the promised land. What a day glorious day that will be!

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Church, 707 East Beltline, NE, Grand Rapids with Pastor Ray Mayhew officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville west building, 4235 Prairie St. SW and one hour prior to services at church Saturday.
