

Marilyn was born February 2, 1943 in Grand Rapids, MI. She graduated from Godwin Heights class of ’61. Marilyn and her family enjoyed summers on Pigeon Lake, Port Sheldon. Following a long and successful career at Spartan Stores, she retired and continued to volunteer with Godwin Heights Alumni, IFMA, and Special Olympics. Marilyn’s favorite pastime revolved around attending her grandchildren’s various events.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jurden and Emma Moore; and brothers and sister Gary Moore, Barbara Webster and Jurden Moore.
She will be deeply missed by her children Cathy (John) Hubbard, Patrick Gould, Cindy (Bob) Schneider, and Deb Cahill; grandchildren Shayla, Tyler (Allison), Samantha, Alexandra (Brian), Seve (Jessica), Greta, Robby, Evyn, Maisie, Ainslie, and Finn; nine great-grandchildren; brothers T. Michael (Cindy) Moore, and Pat Moore; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Bandit.
Funeral services will be held 7 PM Monday, March 25, 2019 at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville. Relatives and friends may meet her family Monday, March 25, 2019 from 12-2 and 5-7 PM prior to her service at the chapel.
