Marinus Van Van Popering

VAN POPERING - Marinus Van Popering, age 84 of Byron Center, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 9, 2001. He was preceded in death by his wife Jessie. He is survived by his children, Susan Ronald Stepanck of Hudsonville, James Evelyn Van Popering of Byron Center; his grandchildren, Sheila Larry Dyke, Becky Todd Meeuwenberg, Cynthia Ed Wolters, Phillip Van Popering and fiancAC.e Jennifer Smoluk; his great grandchildren, Samantha Dyke and Benjamin Wolters; sisters, Cornelia Rietman, Elizabeth Cummings; sisters-in-law, Gwen Van Popering, Mildred Van Popering, Jurrianna Jager, Berl Costen; many nieces and nephews and his special family at Railside Living Center. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St., Byron Center, with Rev. Thomas Groelsema officiating. The family will meet relatives and friends Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center.
