

She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Annette Berkompas; brothers Lloyd Berkompas and Melvin Berkompas.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband Orville Boerman; children Delwyn (Dawn) Boerman, Twyla (Ed) Shaffer, Nancy (Jeff) Herring, Pam (Mike) Gregorski and Scott (Shelly) Boerman; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Marjorie was a great cook, known for her cinnamon rolls and chocolate chip cookies. She loved books, camping, traveling, Mission trips and taking long walks. She was an avid Delphware collector. She will be missed by family and friends.
Memorial visitation with the family will be held 4 - 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at First Reformed Church of Byron Center – The Rock, 8425 Byron Center Ave., S.W., Byron Center, MI 49315. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017 at First Reformed Church of Byron Center, 8425 Byron Center Ave., S.W., Byron Center, MI 49315. Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery.
