Martin Charles Bayer

He was preceded in death by his wife, Melvena; two brothers and one sister. Surviving are his sons, Rev. Lee R. Carol Bayer of Hudsonville and Dr. Richard M. Jean Bayer of Penfield, NY; his grandchildren, Garrick Judy Bayer, Priscilla Shan Hartsough, Jennifer Bayer, Kelley David Cuff, Amy Daniel Albert, and Keith Bayer; five great-grandchildren; his brother Richard Emma Bayer; and sister-in-law Helen Bayer.

A Service of Remembrance will be held Monday, 2 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Jenison 1889 Baldwin, with Msgr. Gasper Ancona officiating.

The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to New York Fire Relief Fund, International Association of Firefighters, 1750 New York Ave., Washington D.C. NW 20006.
