Marvin L. Post

POST Mr. Marvin L. Post, age 85, went to be with his Lord Sunday, November 23, 2014. Marvin was born in Chicago on April 14, 1929, to Richard and Reka (VanEerden) Post. He served his country honorably with the US Army during the Korean War. Marvin was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Winifred Post.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Carol Ann; children, Lynn Post and Kevin (Nicole) Post; grandsons, Mason, Tanner, and Hudson; brothers, Richard (Esther) Post, and Robert (Matilda) Post; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Judy) VanByssum; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 PM at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th SW, Byron Center. Relatives and friends may meet his family Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home and Wednesday from 1 PM until the time of his service.
