Maxine Irene Cole

COLE Mrs. Maxine I. Cole, age 91, of Georgetown Manor, formerly of Hudsonville, departed on September 10, 2013. Maxine was born April 21, 1922 to Clyde and Pearl (Eldred) Branch in White Cloud, Newaygo County, MI. Also, preceding her are her husband, Robert L. Cole; son, James Cole; brother, Melvin Branch; and sister, Vergie Faye Branch.

Maxine will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bill (Linda) Cole of Florida, Fred (Barb) Cole of Hudsonville, and daughter-in-law, Linda Cole of Hudsonville; ten grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Phyllis) Branch of Allendale, and Ronald (Mary) Branch of Florida. Maxine and Robert were married on June 7, 1941. She finished her career with General Motors Diesel Equipment in Wyoming in 1980, retiring after 30 years of service. She was a member of the VFW auxiliary at VFW Post 702 in Wyoming. Maxine will always be remembered by her family and friends as a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother.

A private memorial service is being planned with interment at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Her family would like to thank the staff at Georgetown Manor for the wonderful care she received the last few years of her life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Maxine's name may be sent in care of Baruch Ministries, 141 Port Sheldon Rd., Grandville, MI 49418.
