Mike’s M.S. no longer allowed him to walk on earth, but he is now walking with his Lord and Savior.

His father Joseph preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Lori: his children, Sarah and Luke; his mother Florence Gerencer; his sister Janet Ken Duncan; brothers, Bill, Joe Carol Apsey and Tom; father and mother-in-law, Hugo and Donna Vlieger; sisters-in-law, Terri Ross Luurtsema, Joy Lester Dickert Vlieger and Julie Jack Hamilton; brother-in-law John Vlieger.

The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Calvary Church with Rev. Jim Carlson officiating.

The family will meet with relatives and friends Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville 4235 Prairie St. SW - west building.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Calvary Church Mission Fund.
