
She was preceded in death by Claude, her husband of 67 years.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Audrey Miller McBride of Caledonia, Raymond J. Marilyn Miller of Wisconsin, and James C. Diane Miller of Plymouth;her 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; her brothers-in-law, Floyd Kay Miller and Robert Beyer; her special nephew Rev. Terry Betty Lapinsky; her niece Margaret Fordham of Texas; and many other nieces and nephews.
Monica was a charter member of the Newhall Baptist Church, living her love for Christ in active service.
She gave 12 years of service to the RSVP Volunteers of the 54th St. senior center.
Monica was a longtime employee of Wurzburg’s Department Store, managing the china and gift departments at the Downtown, Southland, and Eastbrook stores.
The funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at the Newhall Baptist Church 3434 Hubal SW with Rev. Stephen Holman officiating.
Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park.
The family will meet with relatives and friends on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville 4235 Prairie St SW - west building and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Newhall Baptist Church.
