Muriel Leona Kuhn (Nickels), age 93, went to be with her Lord Friday, March 8, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Kuhn; parents Nicholas and Veronica Nickels; brother, Norm Nickels; and sister, Doris VenVelsen.
She will be lovingly missed by her siblings Delmer Nickels and Evelyn Kopenskey; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Muriel was known for her cooking, flower gardening and watching after her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed taking care of her family and was like a second mother to her siblings.
Visitation with the family will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2019 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 - 84th Street, Byron Center, MI 49315. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019 with a Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2275 Diamond Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. Interment will be at St. Sebastian Cemetery.
In honor of Muriel and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or St. Ann’s Nursing Home.
