

She was preceded in death by her parents Weller and Clara Taylor and sister Lois DeZeeuw.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband, Ted Schierbeek; children Suzanne (Roger) Veldhouse, Timothy (Deborah) Schierbeek, Marvin (Luanne) Schierbeek, Michael (Marcia) Schierbeek and Todd (Susie) Schierbeek; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; siblings Helen (Sam) Hofman, Doris Brumels, Keith (Olga) Taylor and Jean (Chuck) VanEngen; in-laws Sadako Taylor, Anna Mae Cook, Henry (Dorothy) Schierbeek, and Nelvah (Don) Agema; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ted and Muriel were married for 62 years. Her joy in life was embroidering and quilting baby blankets for all the great and grandkids. Muriel was very faithful sending cards to family and friends for all occasions. She delighted in her family.
Visitation with the family will be held from 4-7PM on Friday, February 1, 2019 at “The Rock,” First Reformed Church of Byron Center, 8425 Byron Center Ave. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Saturday, February 2, 2019 with an hour of visitation prior to the service at First Reformed Church of Byron Center. Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery.
