Nora L. See

Nora See (Juell), age 70, of Byron Center, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 24, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger See; her parents, Lorance and Gloria Juell; and her step-sister, Barb Fossmo.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Ron (Amee) Bekkering, Tammy (Stacey Noppert) Warsen; step-daughters Brenda (Mike) Landon, Barbara See; her granddaughters, Mackenzie Warsen, Camryn Bekkering, Madison Bekkering; her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Paul Fossmo, Robert (Sara) See, George (Judy) See, James See, Ron (Sheryl) See, Betty Claftin, Jack See, Tom Rummelt; her beloved cat, Roxy; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Nora’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Dunes at Spectrum Health Rehab and Nursing for their compassion and care.

Nora attended Byron Center United Methodist Church for 65 years. She served in various roles, including youth and music ministry. Nora served for many years at Happiness Is Restaurant in Byron Center. She loved watching her children and grandchildren participating in sports and dance. Nora enjoyed camping with her family and in retirement with Roger, before he passed in 2010.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St., S.W. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, at the Byron Center United Methodist Church, 2490 Prescott St., S.W.

In honor of Nora, contributions may be made to Byron Center United Methodist Church, Susan Mast ALS Foundation, or Spectrum Health Rehab and Nursing Center.
