On Wednesday, February 22, 2023, Phyllis Jarvis passed away peacefully at the age of 92. She is survived by her children Gail York, Aleta (Mark) Berghoef, and Brook (Gale) Alberts; and loving cousin, Rodney Murray.
Phyllis was a graduate of South High School in 1948. She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force and was the first woman from Grand Rapids to enlist. Phyllis loved her family dearly and was always eager and willing to help others. She had a passion for gardening, which resulted in her being a Master Gardener.
Visitation will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan.
