Richard Arthur Jennings, 1960-2013 Richard passed away Feb. 12, 2013 in Jenison, MI following a twenty-eight year struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. Richard was born in Lawton, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Lawton High School, class of 1978, attending Cameron University. Richard enjoyed music, sports, and talking to his internet friends. Till the very end, he was still able to remember and sing the lyrics from "American Pie" despite MS increasingly robbing him of his ability to communicate. His unceasing courage and humor inspired family, friends, his care givers, and everyone who met him.
Richard will be buried in Poway, CA next to his parents, James Keith Jennings and Mary Maud Jennings, formerly of Lawton. He is survived by brothers Jim (Denver, Co), Charly (Poway, CA), and Bill (Dallas, TX); his sister Barbara (Jenison, MI) and was preceded in death by his parents.
