

Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Patricia (Barlow) Ver Sluis; his children, Susie (Tom) Moore, Kimberlee (Ron) Palmer, Sheri (Casey Wadsworth) Ver Sluis; his grandchildren, Andrew (Anjela) Dygert, Maxwell Dygert, Robert "Nick" Palmer, Elizabeth Palmer; great-grandchildren, Kaylen and Quinton; his siblings, Luanne Haaga, Cornelius "Chip" (Kay) Ver Sluis, Sharon Preyss; his sister-in-law, Betty Stanton; and many nieces and nephews. Bob worked as owner/partner for Neal's Truck Parts. He enjoyed boating, horse racing, college and pro sports, especially the Tigers. Bob was also one of the founding members of the Grandville Wrestling Boosters in the 70's. He served in the US Army.
A time for relatives and friends to visit with Bob's family will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, April 16, at Cook Memorial Chapel in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (east building). Memorial services will be held 11 AM Thursday at First Reformed Church of Grandville, 3060 Wilson Ave. SW, with Dr. Ronald Zartman officiating. Bob's urn will be placed in the memorial wall at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
