Roger Dale Sweeney Sr., age 84, passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Sweeney; parents Henry and Rena Sweeney. He will be remembered by his children Roger Sweeney Jr., Jim Sweeney. and Toby Sweeney; grandchildren; and friends.
Roger was a Navy veteran, Grand Rapids police motorcycle officer and longtime CSX railroad engineer. He enjoyed long conversation, fishing, and spending time at the cottage by the lake.
