To the Meyers family: I have so many good memories of Ron while I was growing up at Silvis Heights Baptist in the 1960's. It is so comforting to know that he is finally free from pain and with the Lord. It is also so comforting to know that we will see him once again in glory. Dear Karen and Family,
 With saddness in my heart, I rejoice knowing that Ron is finally home with his Lord and Savior. As we claim the promises of Christ Ron now is seeing Him face to face. What a Joy it has been to walk together with Ed and Ron as they both faught a battle struggling with pancreatic cancer. They never gave up hope and trusted in God each step of the way! They both faught a good fight and have won an awesome Victory in their heavenly home! 
 It has been a privilege for me to have an opportunity to be a friend to you both. Ron was such a wonderful man of incredible Faith,Integrity, Compassion and Wisdom. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May our loving God give you PEACE as you go on without your helpmate.

My children grew up with Ron at Silvis Heights Baptist Church. Tuesday night Bible study with Mrs Perry was a highlight of the week. Ron's parents did so many wonderful things with this youth group also. Many lives were forever changed thru the witness of such Godly people. I and my family are sincerely grateful.  I only knew Ron for the six years, I was at Cornerstone. But during that time I grew to know and greatly appreciate Ron's service and committment to God, Cornerstone, his division and his students. 
 The past three years, Ron showed everyone his real character, with how he handled his illness with faith and courage. It was a privilege to know and work with Ron.

Professor Meyers was one of my first teachers I had when I came to Cornerstone. Although I was in his class for just a year, he certainly impacted me with his love for people, teaching and the Lord. I was certainly blessed by being able to have him as my professor! I pray that God puts a hand of comfort and healing over the family as they go through this tough time. I'm certain that Professor Meyers is having a celebration with Jesus in heaven now! God bless you all

Karen, Kalene,Jeremy, Lauren:
 Ron was a great person to have as a colleague. Without doubt I gave him the most difficulty of any one of the faculty with our constant confusion via students looking for one of us or the switchboard getting the wrong one. Even termpapers came to me in Florida as recently as Spring 08. I admire the model Ron made for us in fighting the cancer and teaching through it for two years. Ron was friendly as usual if subduedat the 09 graduation which is the last time I spoke with him. I wish I had knocked on the door this summer when I thought about him a number of times as we went south on the Beltline. May the Lord give you special peace now, even though his absence will always be missed by each of you.

I was a student at Cornerstone University in the 1980s then called Grand Rapids Baptist College. Ronald Meyers was very influential in helping me to understand the compatibility of creationism and science. I have always been very grateful to him for this.
