Rose Van Van Akker

Rose was born on September 7, 1912. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Angelo DiPiazza and Clarence Van Akker; and her children, Frandk DiPiazza and David Lawrence. Rose will be dearly missed by her children, Katherine Stiles of Luther Home, Caroline DiPiazza of Walker and Betty Pierce of Wyoming; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Peggy, Patrick, Tammy, Paul, John and Michael; 14 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; her sister Lillian Gessler of Grand Rapids, and many nieces and nephews.

The service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 2nd at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie St SW in Grandville.

Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Sunday one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
