Ruth Eleanor Wierenga

WIERENGA Mrs. Ruth Eleanor Wierenga, age 82, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus, Thursday, April 11, 2013. Ruth was born June 14, 1930 to Rhyner and Mary (Wiersum) Scholma. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Michael Kleinjans; and two brothers and two sisters.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Roger Wierenga; children, Gary (Karen) Wierenga, Joan (Gary) Kleinjans, Judy (Jerry) White, and Rick (Kathy) Wierenga; grandchildren, C.J.(Ashley), Kate (Mark), Jaimy (Ross), Kurt, Ryan, Tara, Jeff (fiancAC.e, Martha), and Stephanie; great grandchildren, Ethan, Molly, Gibson, Peyton, Ashtyn, Dakota, Brecken, and Mackenzie; brothers and sister, Gerald Scholma, Mae Visser, Lee Scholma, and Hi (Ruth) Scholma.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 AM, at her church, First Jenison Christian Reformed Church, 8360 Cottonwood Dr., Jenison, with Rev. Adam Barton officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet her family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Cook Funeral Home, Jenison Chapel, 1889 Baldwin, Jenison.
