Larry, Larry III, and Kristen, It's hard to find words to tell you how sorry I am for you loss. I have enjoyed working with your Mom for the last 5 years. She was always happy and upbeat. She always had a smile and thoughtful things to say when anyone was going through a rough time. I know we will all miss her immensly at Zeeland Lumber. Dear Larry, Kristin, Larry Jr. and family, Sandy was a joy to know and I enjoyed working with her at Aukeman's. She was a wonderful, kind, and gentle person. We were like sisters at work. I am so glad that she was a part of my life. Her christain faith always shown through on a daily basis. I just want to express my heartful sympathy to you all....how comforting to know that we will all see her again in our Father's heavenly kingdom. I have a lot of great memories of Sandy. Larry & family- My wife Julie and I offer our heartfelt sympathy and prayers for you. I worked with Sandy as a director on the ZL Board and as CEO at the John A. VanDenBosch Co. Sandy was unique with her ability to make sense out of numbers and also be such a kind compassionate person. I often talked to Sandy on the phone about company issues, and I could always trust her answers to be "right-on"--but also with care and understanding if there was a human element involved. I and others that knew her will miss her so much. She was one of the best examples of how to live a Christian life of anyone I know, and I'm sure it gives you much comfort to know she is with her Lord and Savior.
