Sandy was a beloved sister-in-law and friend!   I can't help but smile when I think of her, because she LOVED to laugh and tease!   What a delightful time we had whenever we were all able to get together.  Another thing that made her special, was that she really cared, especially about family.  Sandy made sure that Jerry had a great relationship with his children, and she always asked about our "boys" and other family members, too.

We wish we could have kept you with us longer.   Rest in Peace, dear Sandy!

Even though we got together less frequently recently, I'm really going to miss you, Sandy.  You really brought joy wherever you went.  It's too bad you were a Dodger fan, but maybe we can pull for the A's this year.           Your favorite Giants fan, Fred (Rick)

Sandy was my sister-in-law who brought such a beautiful smile and demeanor to our family. From the moment Jerry introduced her to my husband, Ivan, and me, I felt like she had been in our family forever. When we all got together for reunions or Christmas tree decorating, she was such a delight to relax with. Her laugh was so beautiful and hearty. Fred, Alice, Jerry, Sandy, Ivan and I went out to dinner once and afterwards we ended up in a costume store that sold all sorts of odd things. We spread out in the store but each of us knew exactly where Sandy was by the peals of laughter that rang out when she found something that tickled her! I think I speak for Ivan and for my brother and sister-in-law, Fred & Alice, when I say she will be missed. We all loved her.

Sandy and I sang the tenor (high) part in the Belle Tones Chorus.  Sectional rehearsals with her were filled with fun and laughter.  She lit up any room when she came in. I will miss her joyous presence.  Mary Ellen Hood

For a long time I only knew of Sandra through the kind things her neighbor and my friend said, then a few weeks back, Sandy joined our Thursday night group of SIp and Sew for crafts and conversation. She endeared herself immediately to the group and her cheerful presence will be missed. RIP Sandra, you were a lovely lady.

I am so saddened to hear of Sandy's passing to a greater choir. I just saw her a couple weeks ago as she said it was time to head back to Arizona. I wondered last weekend if she had headed back. To Sandy's family I offer my deepest condolences.

I had the privilege of singing with Sandy in our BelleTones Chorus.  She was such a great addition to the group.  I also was in a Grief and Loss Group with Sandy after the passing of our husbands.  She not only had so much insight to add to the group but also led the group at times.  I will miss her. Melinda Alcorn

Sandy and I sat next to each other in the church choir rehearsals at the Voyager Resort, her winter home.  We had so much fun poking fun at each other over questions about the music or the changes our director would make in the music.  We also sang together in Belltones, Voyager's womans barbershop group.  We would laugh so hard we would cry.  She was always pushing me to sing solos, which I had more fun explaining to her why I don't do them any more.  We were the same age.  I will miss her, but I know that she is singing her heart out in heaven for Jesus.  Sharron McCabe

We at the Voyager resort in Tucson were delighted to get to know Sandy as a fine singer but most of all as a good dear friend. She was always ready to laugh and kid with me since we both enjoyed such teasing as well as singing solos. The Chapel choir and the Girls barbershop group enjoyed having her as a member as well. 

It was a very unexpected passing of a good friend but the fact she was with her family and had such a good time celebrating her birthday then to pass quietly in her sleep was a blessing. She will be greatly missed by all of us who were privileged to be able to become her friend.

Sandy was a loyal member of the Belle Tones Chorus in Tucson, AZ.  She was my dear friend with whom I shared many a laugh.  And she had a great laugh!  We are a small group of about forty women performing two concerts a year.  Sandy was one of a handful of tenors.  Sandy added her beautiful voice to our group as well as volunteering on our Social Committee. She will be missed.  Blessed Be!
