

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, whom he married June 8, 1990 in Jenison, Michigan; children JJ (Rodney) Lamrock, Jason (Nicki) Centala, Nancy (Adam) Grybauskas, Joshua (Jenni) Centala, and Naomi Centala; his loving nine grandchildren Ethan, Ezra, Hezekiah, Isaiah, Braylon, Grace, Michael, Makenna, and Ricardo “Ricky.” Scott is also survived by his loving mother, Dolores “Dolly,” and seven brothers and sisters Michael (Karen) Centala, Julie(Gary) Geno, Kirk (Sherry) Centala, Andrew (Jane) Centala, Roberta (Mark) Viegelahn, Kathy (Mike) Vroman and Robert (Niki) Centala; brother-in-law Steve (Debbie) Smith; as well as too many nieces and nephews to name. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Robert James Centala.
Scott was a devoted nurse for more than 30 years. He loved the outdoors, photography/videography, was an artist, enjoyed riding his Harley, and loved his grandchildren wholeheartedly. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 PM Friday, March 3, 2017 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Resurrection Life Church - Rez Center, 5100 Ivanrest SW, Grandville, Michigan. Pastor Tom Smith will be officiating. Interment will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens.
