Sean Patrick Donovan

DONOVAN - Sean Patrick Donovan, age 25, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2015. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Tracy and Bob Donovan; sister Katie Donovan; grandmother, Kathryn Stebbins; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Sean leaves behind his beloved dog Irie and cat Leela.

Sean graduated from Byron Center High School with honors and was an AP scholar. He went on to GVSU and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was in the process of going back to GVSU to further his education. Sean recently started a new job, and he enjoyed the people with whom he worked. He was passionate about his music and playing his drums and guitar. If we ever had a question about anything, Sean was our guy who knew the answer. He was also funny, kind-hearted and an all-around good guy who was always there for his family. We are going to miss him.

Visitation with the family will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2015 at Cook Funeral Home. Byron Center, 2067 84th St., S.W., Byron Center, with a Vigil beginning at 3:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 with visitation one hour prior at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson, S.W., Byron Center. Msgr. William Duncan will be officiating. Interment will be at St. Sebastian Cemetery.

In honor of Sean, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the Grand Rapids Humane Society.
