Selene M. Slonka

SLONKA OLDFORD Selene Oldford Slonka went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2008, after a battle with cancer, at the age of 69. She is survived by her sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren, Robert and Joan Michael, David, Christina, Macy and Bert and Vickie Jon, Mitchel, Brittany; her sisters, Rosie Elmer Pestrue of Georgia and Hilda Withrow of Tennesse and extended family in Newfoundland.

Selene loved her grandchildren and was happiest when she was spending time with them. She worked for many years at Best and at Millbrook Tack & Trailer.

Visitation will take place Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie - west building. There will be no funeral service, at Selene's request.
