Shelby Jean Irwin

IRWIN (Kiste) a?" Shelby Jean Irwin, age 74, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 9, 2011. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Kiste; her mother, Rhoda Matthews Richter; sisters, Doris Norton and Jill; brother, Dean Kiste; and grandson, Jesse Irwin.

She will be lovingly remembered by husband, Donald Irwin; children, Cindy (Gordon) Batey, Bonnie (William) Cannon, Donald Irwin, Kathy (John) Doyle, Michael (Dawn) Irwin, and Jenny (Scott) Reed; 22 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren; sister, Judy Beckwith; brothers, David (MaryLou) Kiste and Lloyd Kiste; special sister-in-law, Janet Irwin; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday at the Byron Center Chapel of Cook Funeral Home, 2067 a?" 84th SW, Byron Center. Interment will be at Winegar Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
