Shirley Ann Larkin

LARKIN - Shirley Ann Larkin, age 67 of Jenison, died peacefully on Sunday, May 23, 1999, following an extended illness. She will be deeply missed by her daughters and son-in-laws, Kelly and John Broschak of Jenison, Patti and Dale DeWitt of Byron Center; her grandchildren and light of her life, Corey Broschak, Ryan and Alissa DeWitt; favorite niece Sharley Hower of Traverse City; and very special friends, Milly Croly and Mark Dievendorf both of Jenison. Shirley is also survived by brothers, Robert Lake, Lloyd Sarah Lake; sisters, Dorothy Rathburn and Mary Bierie; nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews. Shirley will be remembered most for her unfailing love and commitment to both her family and to her position a high school secretary at Jenison Public Schools which she proudly held for 29 years. Funeral services, including committal will be held Thursday, May 27 at 4 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 150 50th St. SW in Wyoming, with Pastor Noble Lach officiating. Private interment at Georgetown Cemetery, Jenison. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, May 26, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home-Grandville, 4235 Prairie SW west building.
