Stefanie Anne Schuiling (Maybee), born on September 13, 1970, entered her eternal resting place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones, at just 55 years young after a brief battle with breast cancer.
Stefanie was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Stefanie’s passing has brought peace, knowing that she is no longer in pain or suffering. Her passing has also left a void in the hearts of her family and friends whose lives were touched by her.
Stefanie is survived by her loving husband, Ronald G. Schuiling; her precious children Jackson (Kaylee) Schuiling, Grayson Schuiling; sisters Jamie (Nick) Tedrow and family, Jessica (Roger) Pease and family, Kristy Muriel and family, and Lisa (Jack) Cobb and family; mom, Josephine Keel; mother- and father-in-law Jan and Harold Schuiling; brothers- and sisters-in-law Randy (Jill) Schuiling and family, Deb (Ed) Kreuyer and family; and many nieces and nephews that she adored and loved. Stefanie’s newest love was for the dog she had always wanted: her beloved fur baby, Cali. Stefanie also had some special relationships with Mindy (Greg), her sister from another mister, and Darlene (Kirk) Schuiling, who also had a special place in Stefanie’s heart. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, and many cousins. We would also like to extend our appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to her hospice nurse, Jessica, RN.
Stefanie attended and graduated from Everett High School in 1988 in Lansing, Michigan. After Stefanie’s high school graduation, she worked at MSU and other various jobs until she met her soul mate. She was always thankful to Ms. Betty for introducing them.
Stefanie married Ronald G. Schuiling on January 15, 2000, and they lived in the Jenison, Michigan area. During this time, they built a beautiful family and life together. She was a devoted wife and mother to her children. She was very proud of her little family. Stefanie enjoyed many hobbies throughout her years, with reading being her most favorite and scrapbooking coming in as a close second. Stefanie also enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends shopping or just hanging out and having fun. Stefanie loved the Christmas season because she enjoyed spending the holidays with her family and friends. Her newest and latest hobby was loving her dog, Cali. This brought her much joy and happiness. Stefanie will be greatly missed by all who know her.
In honor of Stefanie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grandparents Rights Organization or The Single Parent Project.
A private celebration of life will be held to celebrate our beloved Stefanie.
Stefanie is in the care of Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. The family welcomes memories and messages at www.cookcaresgrandville.com in their online guestbook.
