He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruth Sutter; brothers, Lloyd, Max, and Harry Sutter; and sister, Millie Ogle.

Steve’s loving memory will be cherished by his devoted wife of 28 years, Beverly; son, Jonathon; step-children, Barb and Dave Clahassey, Crystal Burnette, Kathy and Carey Hillard, Lori Wheeler, and Patrick Wheeler II; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth and Ray Sager; brother, Ed Sutter; sisters and brother-in-law, Martina Sutter, Debbie and Doug Koster; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Kevin and Laurie Glieden and Mike Curtis.

A service celebrating Steve’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 20th at the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW in Byron Center, with Pastor David Christian from Resurrection Life Full Gospel Church officiating.

Burial will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Steve’s name may be made to Home of Hope Hospice.
