I've known Terry since I was 13. He was with my sister Lisa. They married. I Loved Terry Like he was my own brother. He used to talk to me about life.I was going thru my teenage years. He was there. I loved him. I havent seen him in 13 years and i knew he was doing good and i know he's doing good now No matter what happened in the past I knew I was a part of him. I know he's looking down on us all. He is the apple of everyones eye.

I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to all in the Grandy family. While there is nothing I can write that will make all the hurt and sorrow go away, I do hope that you can take comfort in knowing that Terry was a fine, honorable man and father, now free from his pain and hurt. I take pride in, and thank the Lord for my having been raised in the neighborhood on Lila Ave. I've moved frequently since college and met many, many people, and Mr. and Mrs. Grandy, I can truthfully note that in this day and age there just aren't many people around with the character, faith and integrity of your family-- and most of them were our neighbors. Again, my deepest sympathies to your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. It is difficult at a time like this to find the right words to say when we have been so distant from all of you. But, we will continue to remember all the good times we had as kids growing up on Lila St., the ball games we played in the empty lot, the tunnels we dug, the neighborhood pool parties.... My wife Bev and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Grandy family. Life is supposed to be fun - to be enjoyed as a gift from God. As a teenager I babysat the four boys Tony, Tom, Tim and Terry on numerous occasions, as our family lived across the street. However, while they were still young I left to join the Navy - then civilian life in Missouri. I still talk about how many games of "Ants In The Pants" I played with those boys!
