
He was retired after 30 years from GM-Delphi; served his country with the US Army from 1967 to 1969.
He was preceded in death by his father Albert Selvig; brother Ronnie Selvig; two brothers-in-law, Ernie, James Restall. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary; his children, Colin Selvig, Wendy and Kraig Weber, Theresa Selvig, Gillian and Brett Van Solkema; one precious grandson Nicholas Selvig; his mother Juanita; three brothers, Alan and Mary Lou Selvig, Roger and Pam Selvig, Melvin and Sharon Selvig; sister Joyce Cramton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Pearl and Gerald Stoddard of Gun Lake, Patricia Restall, Ted and Pamela Restall, Margaret Restall and Colin Restall all of England and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 11 a.m. from St. Mary's Visitation Catholic Church please gather at the church with Fr. Richard Altine Celebrant. Interment Visitation Cemetery with military honors under the auspices of the George Wagner American Legion Post 127. The family will meet relatives and friends Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Byron Center Chapel of the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW.
